Dr. Peter Violette O.D., P.C.

Dr. Peter J. Violette graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in 1986. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association, and has been practicing in Wakefield since 1989.

Dr. Violette was born and raised in northern Maine. Madawaska to be exact. He worked in Augusta, Maine, for a year in a contact lens practice before returning to Massachusetts and working in Wellesly and Cambridge for Harvard Community Health Plan. Dr. Sal Lazzaro originally started the Wakefield practice until Dr. Keith Thompson purchased it in 1981. The practice was then purchased in 1989 from Dr. Thompson by Dr. Violette.

Nick Violette, LDO

Nick graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelors of Arts in Business Management in 2015. After completing his degree, he began his optician's apprenticeship under Master Optician Patrick R. Langone. After completing his National Contact Lens Examiners Certification and American Board of Opticianry Certification, he became a Licensed Dispensing Optician in 2019.
